Jason has been working in the financial services industry since 1996. He has held positions in
the areas of investment and insurance planning with major banks, insurance companies, and credit unions across Western Canada. Jason is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) , Canadian Investment Manager (CIM), and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS). Jason believes strongly in lifelong learning, and as such completes professional course work each year.
Jason has presented on financial planning and risk management strategies to numerous groups across Western Canada. These have included RBC Dominion Securities, BMO Nesbitt Burns, Daystar Financial, Desjardins Financial Security, and both the College of Alberta Denturists, as well as the Denturist Association of Alberta.
Jason has been an active member of the community. He has volunteered with a number of organizations, including NABI, Junior Achievement, and Scouts Canada. He has served in various Board leadership roles both with business networking groups and not for profits.
Jason is an accomplished endurance athlete and earned a Guinness World Record while completing an Obstacle Course at Everest Basecamp in the Fall of 2022.
